Three Arrested, Gun Recovered in DorchesterAbout 3:30pm yesterday, Anti-Crime officers from District 3 were conducting an investigation in the area of Ballou Ave and Mascot Street. After speaking with two juvenile males and 18-year-old Tyshawn Woodley, officers recovered a loaded .22 caliber Beretta handgun. All three males were arrested and charged with the illegal possession of the gun. Gun, Drugs and Ammo Recovered after Roxbury Arrest Members of the Youth Violence Strike Force were conducting an investigation outside of 1 Ernst Street around 5:41pm yesterday. After a brief foot chase the officers caught 26-year-old Donald Fernandez of Dorchester carrying a loaded 9mm handgun in his pocket. Also, officers discovered a box of ammunition inside Fernandez’s car along with several small packages of alleged marijuana. The car was towed and Fernandez was charged with the illegal possession of the gun and ammunition and possession of class D drug with the intent to distribute. Female Juvenile Pair Grabbed After South Boston Robbery Officers from District 6 were informed of an armed robbery by knife that had just occurred at C Street and West Broadway. Two female victims were robbed at knifepoint just after 6:00pm last night. A description was given out and two juvenile females matching the description were located at the Broadway MBTA station and identified by the victims. Both girls were arrested and charged with armed robbery. The victim’s property taken during the crime was returned.
