Victim Stabbed in the NeckYesterday morning at 6:19am, officers from District 1 responded to Stuart and Warrneton Streets on a report of a person stabbed. On arrival officers observed the female victim with a stab wound to the neck and the knife still inside the wound. The victim was transported to the Massachusetts General Hospital where she was treated and her condition is considered non-life threatening. Sex Offender Arrested on Elene Street in Mattapan Members of the Youth Violence Strike force arrested Jerome Reed, 46, of Mattapan yesterday morning at 9:30am. The suspect was charged with failing to provide notice as a sex offender with a change of address. Stabbing in Chinatown District 1 police responded to a radio call at the New England Medical Center for a report of a walk-in stabbing victim yesterday at approximately 6:00pm. When officers questioned the victim, he was uncooperative and wasn’t able to recall the incident, except to say it happened in an unknown location in Chinatown. Store 24 in Brighton Robbed Last night at 7:00pm, officers from District 14 responded to the Store 24 at 241 Market Street in Brighton for an armed robbery in progress. The victim reported that two suspects entered the store to purchase a bottle of water. While the clerk rang up the purchase, one of the suspects pulled a large kitchen knife from his coat and told the employee to give him the money. After the suspects were given the money, they fled the scene. A search of the area was conducted but to no avail. Victim Shot on Sojourner Truth Court Officers from District 11 responded to a radio call for a person shot at 34 Sojourner Truth Court last night at 11:43pm. Upon arrival, officers observed the victim, a 21-year-old from Roxbury, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center for further treatment. No arrests were made and the incident remains under investigation. Man Arrested for Kicking Down Own Apartment Door Early this morning at 12:04am, officers from District 11 responded to a radio call at 276 Bowdoin Street. When they arrived, the officers spoke to the owner of the apartment building who reported that a resident had kicked open the front door to his apartment. When police questioned the resident, the 27-year-old stated he didn’t have a key to the apartment and no one would answer the door, so he kicked it open. The suspect was charged with Destruction of Personal Property when he was taken into custody.
