Juvenile Arrested for shooting at Samuel Morse WayYesterday around 12:09am, officers in District 15 responded to a radio call for a person shot at 9 Samuel Morse Way. The victim stated while walking on Samuel Morse Way he was shot. The victim was transported to an area hospital and treated for non-life threatening gunshot wounds to his left flank and buttocks. A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested and charged with Assault with Intent to Murder, Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon (gun), Assault by means of a Dangerous Weapon and Dangerous weapons unlawfully Carried. Drinking in Pubic Leads to Arrest Yesterday evening officers in District 2 while on patrol in the area of Blue Hill Avenue and Castlegate Road observed a group of about 7 males. Officers observed one of the male drinking from a bottle of Corona Beer. As the officers approached the suspect put the beer down on the sidewalk. Fransisco Chapman, 17, of Jamaica Plain was arrested and charged with Possession of Alcoholic Beverages by Persons Under 21 and Drinking Alcoholic Beverages in Public. Also arrested were 2 juvenile males ages 14, and 16 for Trespassing
