Announces Changes to Boston Police LeadershipToday Acting Boston Police Commissioner Albert E. Goslin announced the promotions of Lieutenant Detective Mark Hayes and Lieutenant Kelley McCormick to the position of Captain. In addition, a personnel order was issued today transferring district Captains to new commands throughout the city. These transfers are effective on August 28, 2006 Commissioner Goslin stated, “The Boston Police Department is comprised of some of the most talented and respected law enforcement professionals nationwide. During a time of reorganization and revitalization within our department, I am proud to be able to make the following promotions and changes.” Commissioner Goslin added, “I am confident that these highly capable and seasoned individuals will continue to diligently serve the department and the citizens of Boston.
