Stanwood Street Victim Identified

At 1:03am on Friday, October 13, 2006, officers from District 2 responded to a radio call for a person shot outside of 42 Stanwood Street. On arrival officers locate a black male in his late twenties suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. EMS transported the victim to Boston Medial Center where he was pronounced as a result of his injury. The victim has been identified as Levar Jackson, 28, of Dorchester. The cause of death has been determined to be gunshot wounds and the manner of death is considered a homicide.Officers recovered ballistics evidence at the scene.
