Boston Police Arrest 2005 Murder Suspect

The Boston Police Homicide Unit announces the arrest of 22 year-old Roberto Mulero of Dorchester for the 2005 stabbing murder of Dakermu V. Kollie, 23, of Salem. As a result of Boston Police investigative efforts, homicide detectives applied for and were granted an arrest warrant for Mulero. This morning members of the Youth Violence Strike Force Apprehension Team located and arrested Mulero by virtue of his outstanding warrant.On December 18, 2005, around 5:40am officers from District 3 responded to 55 Colonial Ave. in Dorchester for a report of a man stabbed. On arrival, officers located Mr. Kollie suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen. The victim was taken to Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced. Today Roberto Mulero was booked for murder and will be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
