Daily Incidents For November 11, 2006

Person Stabbed at Boylston and Hemenway StreetsLast night around 6:44pm, officers in District 4 responded to a radio call for a stabbing in progress at 99 Norway Street. On arrival officers located a victim bleeding from an open wound. The victim stated he was walking down Hemenway Street from Boylston Street, when three unknown white males approached him and proceeded to make negative comments regarding his choice of clothing. The suspect confronted the victim and a fight ensued. At some point during the altercation the victim was stabbed. The victim was transported to Brigham and Women hospital and treated for multiple stab wound. The victim is in stable condition. Breaking and Entering Suspect Found in Bed At midnight, officers in District 14 responded to a radio call for a breaking and entering in progress at 21 Malia TR. Upon arrival Officers spoke to victim who stated that she returned from California and found the lights to her house on. Then the victim stated that she went to her neighbor’s house to call 911 and wait for police. Officers searched the house and located a female lying under a blanket inside one of the bedrooms. The suspect then went into another bedroom to show paperwork that she lived there. The suspect stated that she was the owner of the house. Officers searched the rest of the house and found nobody else present. Officers did observed other sleeping bags in different bedrooms, which the owner stated that they weren't there. Tammy Meiu, 38, of Boston was arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering. Person shot on Lansdowne and Ipswich Street This morning around 2:30am, officers in District 4 responded to a radio call for a person shot at Ipswich and Lansdowne streets. On arrival officers located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the side. The victim stated he was walking on Lansdowne Street when, he was shot by an unknown person. The victim was transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital and treated for a non-life threatening injury.
