Motor Vehicle VandalismAbout 4:15 p.m. on Thursday January 25, 2007, officers responded to numerous calls for breaking and entering of motor vehicles at 125 Parker Hill Ave in District B2. On arrival, New England Baptist Hospital Security reported to BPD officers that several vehicles were broken into in a parking lot across the street from the hospital. A witness, who stated that he saw a black male and white male break into a motor vehicle, contacted the security company. The witness reportedly yelled to the suspects who then fled in a silver Honda. The security officer spoke with several victims who stated that their front windows were broken. In all, seven vehicles were broken into, but after examining the vehicles nothing appeared to have been taken. A Vigilant Witness Identifies OUI Suspect At approximately 9:22p.m.on Thursday January 25, 2007, officers responded to a radio call to investigate a motor vehicle parked at Gallivan Boulevard/Neponset Avenue in Dorchester. On arrival, officers were met by the caller, who stated that he was driving on the expressway when he observed a 2001 Black Nissan Altima weaving and driving erratically. He followed the vehicle to the present location and called the Police. Upon arrival to the scene, officers observed the vehicle parked with the keys in the ignition and the vehicle running. A White Non-Hispanic Female later identified as Julie Svenson, 31, of South Boston, sitting in the back sit of the vehicle. The witness confirmed that the female now sitting in the backseat was the female he observed driving the motor vehicle. Officers instructed the suspect to exit the vehicle, whereupon the officers noticed a strong odor of alcoholic beverage on her breath. The suspect was subsequently placed under arrest for Operating Under The Influence. Stabbing on Brighton Ave Today at about 3:44 a.m., Boston Police responded to Massachusetts General Hospital for a report of a walk-in stab victim. The walk-in victim stated that he and a companion were outside a bar at 161 Brighton Ave in D14. The victim further stated that when he exited the bar he exchanged words with an unidentified male. The suspect then pulled knife out of his pants pocket and stabbed the victim before fleeing on Brighton Ave towards Union Sq. The suspect is described as a white male with red hair (balding) wearing a white "B" ball cap, a white hooded sweatshirt, white pants and white sneakers.
