Vigilant Cops Capture Armed Robbery SuspectsOn March 19, 2007 at 12:53am, officers in District 3 responded to a radio cal for an armed robbery at 1556 Blue Hill Avenue. On arrival officers spoke with caller who stated she was putting out the mat in front when the two suspects followed her back into the service area pulled out a gun demanded money and cigarettes. The mobile Gas Station was robbed at gunpoint by two individual described at light skinned male wearing a black jacket, baseball hat with letter B, earrings in both ears, tattoo on the left side neck, thin beard and thin mustache, hair in the middle of chin and holding firearm in his right hand. Second suspect is black male wearing a dark hoodie, blue jeans facial hair and observed stealing candy. On March 24, 2007 around 12:10pm, while on patrol in the area of Dorchester Avenue near Roseland Street officers from District 11 observed two individuals that fit the description of the suspects. In fact one of the suspects was wearing the exact same clothing that was worn by the suspect with the firearm during the robbery. Officers arrested Sylvester Watkins, 19 of Needham charged with Armed Robbery. Also arrested was Robert Williams, 22, of Mattapan charged with Armed Robbery, Unlawful Possession of Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition. Officers also recovered a firearm from the suspect. “Johns” Arrested in Operation Squeeze Officers from District 2 arrested five individuals, this morning, and charged them with Soliciting Sex for a Fee. Officers in reaction to complaints of prostitution in and around the residential and business areas of District 2 conducted “Operation Squeeze” this morning. During this operation the following suspected approached an undercover Boston Police officer and made offers of sexual acts in exchange for money. The individuals arrested are Robert Vicks, 70, of Dorchester, Dawud Rahim, 64, of Mattapan, Rudolpho Fontes, 43, of Dorchester, Jose S. Dasilva, 47, of Dorchester and Marcilino Goncalves, 37, of Dorchester.
