On May 22, 2007 at approximately 7:47pm, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a person stabbed at Havelock Street and Blue Hill Avenue. On arrival, officers located a 16-year-old male suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was rushed to Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced.Homicides detectives are actively investigating this incident. Preliminary information suggests that six to seven males attacked the victim. Investigators do not believe that this incident was random. Boston Police are seeking information on this incident and ask that anyone who may have been in the area or who may have witnessed this crime to please contact authorities.
