Daily Incidents For June 8, 2007

Two Arrested for Assault and BatteryLast night at 8:29pm, officers from C-11 responded to a radio call for an assault and battery in progress at Crescent Avenue and Sydney Street. On arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he was just jumped by two males about 15-years-old. The victim stated that he was hit over the head with a blunt object. Officer did observe a large limp on the back of the victim’s head. The victim refused medical attention. The victim went on to state that he observed one of the suspects standing at a doorway with his back to him. The victim stated that the second suspect stepped out in from of him to slow him down so that the other suspect could strike him. The victim stated that a white male wearing a gray shirt and black shorts struck him. The victim stated the second suspect was taller wearing a tight tank tip shirt and blue jeans. The suspect took off running down Crescent Street. Officers located a group of individuals with two of them fitting the description. The victim was able to identify the two suspects that assaulted him. Federico Tennyson, 19, of Roxbury was arrested and charged with Assault by means of a Dangerous Weapon. A 16-year-old juvenile male from Dorchester was also arrested and charged with Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon and Intent to Rob while Armed. Person Shot in Dorchester Last night around 11:50pm, officers from District C-11 responded to a radio call for a person shot at Mayfield Street and Dorchester Avenue. On arrival, officers located a 16 year-old black male lying on the sidewalk suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim transported to Boston Medical Center and treated for his injuries. Person Stabbed in Brighton This morning at 2:32am, officers from District 14 were on patrol when an unknown driver directed them to the corner of Harvard Street and Commonwealth Avenue for a group fighting. On arrival, officers observed a black male walking on Commonwealth Avenue towards Harvard Street bleeding from both arms. Officers were informed that the victim had just been attacked and stabbed by a group of three light skinned black males. Officers were informed that the victim was standing at the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Harvard Street talking with friend, when a grey vehicle approached the intersection in attempt to make a right turn. A verbal argument ensued as a result of them blocking the path of the grey vehicle. A physical altercation quickly ensued, at which time during the altercation two suspects brandished knives and proceeded to stab the victim. The victim chased after the suspects who ran down Commonwealth Avenue towards Allston Street. Officers broadcasted a described of the suspects and their vehicle and requested additional units for crowd control. The victim was transported to Beth Israel Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. Several units searched the area and were unable to locate the suspects or the vehicle.
