At about 10:41pm, on Tuesday, January 15, 2008, officers from Area C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 16 Strathcona Road in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located a Hispanic male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was immediately transported to the Boston Medical Center where he succumbed to injuries and was pronounced. The victim has now been identified as 16 year-old Carlos Sierra of Dorchester.Homicide investigators are interested in speaking to the occupants of a gray or dark green Honda with tinted windows that is believed to have been in the area at the time of the shooting. The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
