At about 7:10am, on Friday, May 2, 2008, officers from Area E-18 (Hyde Park) responded to a radio call for a man down in the area of 19 Oakcrest Road. On arrival, officers located a black male in his 20’s, lying down in front of the address, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced on the scene.The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
