POLICE ARREST SUSPECT RESPONSIBLE FOR SHOOTING INCIDENT AT 3948 WASHINGTON STREET

At about 1:07pm, on Sunday, September 7, 2008, officers from Area E-5 (West Roxbury) were on patrol when they on-sited a shooting incident in the area 3948 Washington Street. Officers located a 16 year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was immediately transported to the Boston Medical Center where he’s being treated for non-life threatening injuries.Officers promptly broadcast a description of the suspect over Channel 4 of the police radio. In short time, a search of the area enabled officers to locate an individual matching the description of the suspect. After the suspect was positively identified, officers arrested Louis Josue, 21, of Roslindale and charged him with Assault with Intent to Murder. Officers also located and recovered the firearm used in the incident.
