Probation and Police Team Up to Clean Up Blue Hill AvenueAs a result of ongoing community complaints, and quality of life issues in the Blue Hill Ave. and Dudley St. area, district B-2 (Roxbury) officers in conjunction with Roxbury District Court Probation officers performed Operation Community Trust this morning. This operation was undertaken to deal with the complaints of prostitution, drug dealing, general disorder and crime. During this operation, officers and Probation Officers patrolled the problem areas and encountered two individuals who are known to both agencies by virtue of stay away orders issue by the court. During these encounters, officers arrested suspect, Michael K. Wright, 42, of Everett and charged him with Violation of Probation, Being a Common Nightwalker, and an outstanding warrant for Distribution of Class B. In addition, officers arrested suspect, Jose L. Roman, 22, of Roxbury and charged him with Violation of Probation by virtue of failing to abide by a court stay away order from the Blue Hill Ave. area, and Being a Common Nightwalker. Enforcement Lands Three Local College Students in Jail This morning around 2:09AM, officers from District B-2 arrested the following individuals: Scott Abrahamsen, 21, Joshua Sipple, 19, and John Scott, 19 all of Roxbury and charged them with various offenses ranging from Possession of Class D, Keepers of a Disorderly House, Procuring Alcohol for a Minor, and Possession of Alcoholic Beverages by a Person Under 21. Officers from District B-2 assigned to a Mission Hill Gang Car are responsible for responding to calls for loud parties, drug use, and consumption of alcohol by underage college students living in the Mission Hill area. Officers responded to 129 St. Alphonsus St. in Roxbury for a loud party/loud music call. On arrival, officers made their way to a third floor apartment where the music was coming from. As officers proceeded up the stairs they encountered an underage student who was apparently under the influence of alcohol. Officers continued up the stair, and once in the apartment officers observed several individuals who immediately fled down a back stairway upon sight of the officers. Officers surveyed the apartment, and observed numerous empty beer bottles, and smelled a strong odor of burnt marijuana. As officers continued to look through the apartment for other intoxicated underage, they observed a quantity of loose green vegetable matter believed to be marijuana on a on a living room table. Officers then inquired and determined that the above individuals were the tenants of the apartment. All the above suspects had bloodshot eyes, had a strong odor of alcohol and appeared to be under the influence of alcohol.
