At about 9:21pm, on Wednesday, January 7, 2009, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person or persons shot in the area of 96 Stanwood Street. On arrival, officers located two individuals (a 36 year-old female and a 36 year-old male) suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The female victim was immediately transported to the Boston Medical Center where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The male victim was pronounced on the scene.The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
