Be Careful What You Tell the Police!Last night around 6:05PM, officers from District D-4 (South End) responded to 39 Dalton St. in Boston/The Sheraton Hotel for a robbery in progress. On arrival, officers spoke to the caller who told officers that he she was just robbed at gunpoint. The caller reported that two men knocked on her hotel room door, pushed their way into her room, and robbed at her gunpoint. Officers broadcast a description of the suspects and canvassed the area to no avail. Detectives then responded to the room, and interviewed the caller regarding the robbery. The caller told officers that she had traveled to Boston from San Francisco and before doing so had placed an advertisement on Craiglist. The caller went on to tell officers that the advertisement had been for sex in exchange for cash for men she had previously met on the internet. The caller went on to tell officers that her sole purpose for getting the room was to have sex with her clients, and that she indeed had already had a client earlier in the day. Officers then seized evidence of the caller’s trade, namely condoms, and a pair of men’s underwear from her earlier client. The caller, Donna Rao, 20, of San Francisco was arrested and charged with Sex for a Fee.
