On Thursday, April 9, 2009, at approximately 10:28pm, officers assigned to Area C-11 (Dorchester), responded to 101 Pleasant Street for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located an 18 year-old black male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.Boston E.M.S. transported the victim to Boston Medical Center. The victim later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced. The facts and circumstances of this incident are under active investigation by the Boston Police Homicide Unit.
