On Sunday, April 12, 2009, at approximately 2:33am, Officers assigned to Area B-2 (Roxbury), responded to the area of 151 Homestead Street for a report of shots being fired.Upon arrival, Officers located an 18 year-old Hispanic male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced. Officers learned of a house party taking place at 151 Homestead Street prior to the shooting. Numerous partygoers were transported to BPD Headquarters in order to be interviewed. The Boston Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating the facts and circumstances of this incident.
