SHOOTING INCIDENT LEAVES 15 YEAR-OLD VICTIM WITH LIFE-THREATENING INJURIESOn May 7, 2009 at approximately 7:22am, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call at 305 Dudley Street for a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located a 15 year-old male victim suffering from what appeared to be two gunshot wounds. The victim was rushed to Boston Medical Center where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries and not expected to survive. The victim is a local student. The Homicide Unit is actively investigating this incident and is seeking the public’s cooperation. Investigators are canvassing the area for information. Members of the CrimeStoppers Unit will also be deployed to the area to speak with neighbors and distribute Text-A-Tip information. Detectives are asking the community to make note of the following suspect description and to contact investigators with any information. Suspect Description: Gender: black male Age: approx. 19 Height: 5’9’’-6’1’’ Build: Thin LSW: a black jacket with a black or dark green hooded sweatshirt, black sunglasses and carrying a colored umbrella. The Boston Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating the facts and circumstances of this incident.
