PEDESTRIAN IN SERIOUS CONDITION AFTER BEING STRUCKAT COLUMBIA ROAD AND DUDLEY STREET Police Seek Suspect Vehicle On May 12, 2009 at 10:54pm the Uphams Corner Safe Street Team observed a pedestrian who had been struck by a motor vehicle at approximately 570 Columbia Road in Roxbury. The 45 year old male victim was receiving medical attention from EMTs and was then rushed to Boston Medical Center where he is currently listed in serious condition. Witnesses’ on-scene stated that the victim walked off the sidewalk at 555 Columbia Road and attempted to cross the street. At that time, the victim was struck by a white vehicle, possibly a Honda Accord Coupe. Officers broadcast a description of the suspect vehicle and are currently making attempts to locate the vehicle and its operator. Investigators are interested in any information that community members may have about this incident and/or the suspect vehicle. The Boston Police B-2 Detectives and the Accident Reconstruction Team are actively investigating the facts and circumstances of this incident.
