DEATH INVESTIGATION AT 23 WILCOCK STREETAt about 6:45am, on Thursday, May 14, 2009, officers from Area B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call to investigate a man down in the area of 23 Wilcock Street. On arrival, officers located the body of a male lying outside the above location. The individual was pronounced on scene. The victim believed to be in his forties was found suffering from trauma, possibly a gunshot wound. The Homicide Unit is awaiting information from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine cause and manner of the victim’s death. The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstanced surrounding this incident.
