BOSTON POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE TO LOCATE ELDERLY MISSING PERSONThe Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in an effort to find an elderly man who has been missing since Saturday, August 15, 2009. The missing person in this case is an elderly 67 year old male who is suffering from early stages of Alzheimer’s, and takes numerous prescription medications for various health related issues. The missing person was last seen on Saturday evening around 7:00Pm in the Dorchester section of the City. The missing person is described below as: Name: Marcelino LOPES Sex: Male Age: 67 Race: Black Hispanic Height: 5’8” Weight: 155 Build: Slim to Medium Hair: Bald Eyes: Brown Click on the below link to see a picture of the victim. Download file Clothing: last seen wearing a Red Hat, Unknown Color Shirt, Black Pants, Black Shoes Special Characteristics: Victim has a partially amputated left index finger and answers to the name of “Charlo” Background Information: The victim has numerous health issues as stated above and is suffering from early onset of Alzheimer’s. The victim went missing several weeks ago and was found wandering in Easton at that time. It is possible that the victim may be headed to Rhode Island where he used to live.
