28 Hillis Road, Hyde ParkOn Sunday, September 20, 2009, at approximately 2:31am, Boston Police Officers assigned out of Area E-18 (Hyde Park), responded to 28 Hillis Road for a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, Officers located an unconscious 18 year-old girl suffering from a single gunshot wound. The victim was later pronounced. 7 Edson Street, Dorchester On Sunday, September 20, 2009, at approximately 3:49am, Boston Police Officers assigned out of Area B-3 (Mattapan), responded to the area of 7 Edson Street for reports of shots fired. Several calls were received stating that a large group of people were congregating in the area when several shots were heard. While officers were enroute, they were informed that a person had been shot. Upon arrival, Officers located four individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. They were transported to various Boston area hospitals for treatment. A 25 year-old male was later pronounced at Brigham & Women’s Hospital as a result of his gunshot wounds. The three other victims are expected to survive. At this time, they are only being described as a 26 year-old male (The Carney Hospital), A 40 year-old male (Boston Medical Center), and a 19 year-old female (Boston Medical Center). The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding these incidents.
