Last night, March 3, 2010, around 7:25PM, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to 85 Draper St. in Dorchester to a call for shots fired.

On arrival, officers located a black non-Hispanic male in his early thirties laying on the street suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Boston Medical center where he pronounced a short time later.

The facts and circumstance of this incident are currently being investigated by the Homicide Unit. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Homicide Unit by calling them at (617) 343-4470.
