DEATH INVESTIGATION IN THE AREA OF 17 STAFFORD STREET

At about 7:59pm, on Sunday, May 2, 2010, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 17 Stafford Street. On arrival, officers observed an individual suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, a 27 year-old black male, was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly encouraged to call the Boston Police Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
