About 12:04AM today, officers from District A-7 (East Boston) responded to 951 Bennington St. for a person stabbed.
On arrival, officers located a 30 year old male victim suffering from several puncture wounds to the upper body. Officers requested EMS and spoke to the victim about what happened. The victim, who was somewhat incoherent, told officers that he had driven into the Burger King lot located at 944 Bennington Street and while there he was assaulted by a suspect, described as a white male about 4’ tall who then fled on foot towards the Brandywine apartments. Officers attempted to get more information from the suspect but the victim’s story continued to change and was somewhat muddled.
The victim was treated on scene and then transported to Massachusetts General Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. After the victim was transported to the hospital, officers were unable to locate a crime scene.
