DEATH INVESTIGATION IN THE AREA OF 35 DUNREATH STREET

At about 4:23am, on Sunday, July 4, 2010, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a man down in front of 35 Dunreath Street. On arrival, officers located and observed a 24 year-old black male who appeared to have been suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced deceased on scene.

The Boston Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
