At about 12:37pm, on Monday, January 3, 2011, members of the Boston Police Bomb Squad responded to 560 Huntington Ave (Boston Fire House: Engine 22/ Ladder 17) for a report of a live hand grenade. On arrival, members of the Bomb Squad spoke with Fire Department personnel who stated that an unknown male brought the explosive device to the fire house.
