At about 11:28am, on Saturday, March 26, 2011, officers from Area A-1 (Downtown) were on patrol in the area of Endicott and Cooper Streets when they observed an individual acting suspiciously. Upon approaching the individual, officers noted that the individual was carrying a McDonald’s bag filled with allergy medicine (Allegra). When officers asked about the bag, the individual, attempting to conceal the bag by placing it behind his back, stated he found it. When questioned further about the medicine, the suspect admitted that he stole it from the CVS on 631 Washington Street. Officers proceeded to the CVS to further investigate the incident. On arrival, officers spoke to the store manager who stated that someone had stolen their entire supply of Allegra. Officers showed the store manager the merchandise recovered from the suspect. After scanning the merchandise, the store manager was able to confirm that the items had been taken from his store.

Officers arrested Charles Stewart, 24, of Boston and charged him with Receiving Stolen Property (Over $250.00).
