UNRULY FAN ARRESTED AT RED SOX GAME

At about 10:50pm, on Sunday, April 10, 2011, an officer performing a paid detail at Fenway Park for the game between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees observed an altercation inside the ball yard. Seeing this, officers promptly intervened in an effort to break up the altercation. As officers were in the process of escorting one of the combatants from the ballpark, the suspect continued to push and shove the officers.  At one point, the suspect attempted to break away from the officers but was unable to do so. Despite being repeatedly asked to calm down, the suspect refused. Moreover, the suspect continued to verbally disparage and disrespect the officers. Officers arrested David Lester, 22, of Medford and charged him with Being Disorderly and Resisting Arrest.
