PUNCHING PIZZA EMPLOYEE LANDS ONE IN HOT WATER

At about 7:52pm, on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, officers from Area D-14 (Brighton) responded to a radio call for a fight inside the Pizzeria Regina at 353 Cambridge Street. On arrival, officers spoke to store employees who stated that the suspect was creating a disturbance in the restaurant. As a result, store employees asked and encouraged the patron to leave the establishment. However, instead of leaving, the suspect proceeded to punch one of the employees square in the face.   The suspect was still on property when police arrived.

Officers arrested Ralph DeAngelis, 53, of Boston and charged him with Assault & Battery and Disorderly Conduct.
