02/11/15, 891 Centre St., Victim Kenny Lamour
Shots fired near 891 Centre St. A victim, Kenny Lamour, was discovered at the corner of Centre and Orchards St. lying in the snow with an apparent gunshot wound. A black male was observed, by witnesses, in the immediate vicinity of the shooting. He was observed with a gun in his hand and was observed to point the gun in the direction of a police office while fleeing. The suspect was also observed to discharge the firearm in the direction of the police officer. The suspect was described by numerous witnesses to be wearing, among other clothing, a black jacket. He was then observed to take a left, off of Centre St, onto Aldworth St. He was then observed to run behind 1 Aldworth St. The house at 1 Aldworth also has an address of 835 Centre St. Suspect, Josiah Zachery, was observed, by police officer's, walking down Centre St. Based on Zachery's physical description, his clothing description, his actions and the fact that he appeared to be covered with fresh snow the officers stopped the suspect for further investigation. The suspect was also observed to be holding a black shovel with a yellow handle. He was not wearing a jacket at this time. It was noted that, in addition to Zachery's physical description, his clothing matched witness description, minus the black jacket that the suspect was observed to have been wearing immediately after the shooting. During the course of the investigation a black jacket was observed underneath a stairwell behind 831 Centre St, which is directly next to the house at 1 Aldworth/835 Centre St. There was a firearm recovered on the roof of the garage of 1 Aldworth/835 Centre St. There were footprints in the snow behind the house at 831 Centre St and footprints leading from 1 Aldworth/835 Centre St which appear to match the sneakers worn by Zachery. The shovel which Zachery was observed to be in possession of was identified by a resident of 831 Centre St. as belonging to him. Based on witness statements, descriptions and identifications, as well as physical evidence, there is probable cause to believe that the suspect, Josiah Zachery, did shoot the victim with a firearm, which resulted in the victim's death. Zachery was placed under arrest and charged with Murder, Assault by means of a Dangerous Weapon and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
01/20/2015, 70 Francis St., Victim Michael Davidson
At about 11:03 AM on Tuesday January 20, 2015 Boston Police Officers responded to a radio call by a Police Officer for shots fired at 70 Francis Street, Floor 2, Boston. Upon arrival Officers observed a white male, identified as Dr. Michael Davidson suffering from a gun shot wound. The male was transported to Brigham and Woman's Hospital operation room. At 7:49 pm on Tuesday January 20 2015 the victim succumbed to his injuries. A second white male was located in an office suffering from a gunshot wound and was pronounced deceased on scene. Further investigation determined that the deceased male shot Dr. Davidson and then shot himself.
