Boston Police Investigate Shooting in the area of 21 Hartwell Street, Roxbury

At about 4:55pm, Saturday, October 19, 2013, officers from District B-2(Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 21 Hartwell Street.

Upon arrival officers observed a male in his twenties limping as he exited the front door of 21 Hartwell   Street.  The victim stated he was outside when he heard shots fired; he attempted to run but fell after being shot in the left leg.  The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

A short distance away, at the intersection of West Cottage and Blue Hill Avenue, officers were flagged down by a male victim in a motor vehicle who stated he too had been shot at 21 Hartwell Street and was on his way to the hospital.  The male victim also in his twenties was transported to Boston Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
