Cops for Kids with Cancer

Former Boston Police Department Superintendent –in-Chief Robert Faherty, and Chairman of the Board, of Cops for Kids with Cancer gave a generous donation to the family of 14 month ofd. Jamir James. The toddler suffers from brain cancer and will undergo a bone marrow transplant next week.   Jamir lit up the conference room at BPD headquarters with his infectious smile and giggles.  Jamir’s Mom , Shanika Riddock says her little man is incredibly strong and is determined to walk.  Decked out in a Red Sox baseball cap, Jamir’s spirit and bravery embody what “Boston Strong” really means. We wish the amazing Jamir a speedy recovery!
