At about 5:43 PM, Wednesday, December 18, 2013, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a Person Shot in the area of 77 Lyndhurst Street in Dorchester.
On arrival, officers observed a male victim who had been suffering from non-life threatening gunshot wounds. Officers spoke with a male witness who stated he had been working on a dirt bike with the victim when they were approached by the suspect who stated “What’s up?” and then started shooting at the victim. The male witness could not give a description of the suspect.
Upon speaking with an additional witness, officers were able to obtain a description of the suspect, who is described as a black male, with a ponytail, approximately 5’09” tall, 170 lbs, possibly in his late 20's-early 30's, wearing a ¾ length leather jacket with a gray hooded sweatshirt underneath. The witness further stated that the suspect was holding the gun inside of a black bag and that he had fired multiple shots. The suspect fled on foot.
