At about 11:56 PM, Thursday, December 19, 2013, officers from District D-4 (South End) responded to a radio call for a Report of a Carjacking in the area of 791 Tremont Street in the South End.
On arrival, officers spoke with the female victim who stated that while she was picking up her boyfriend, an unknown suspect opened the door to her vehicle brandishing a knife. The suspect is described as a black male, close cropped hair and beard, slim build, 5’08” tall and wearing all black. The victim attempted to fight off the suspect, but to no avail. The suspect physically removed the victim from her vehicle while stealing her handbag in the process. Officers tracked the victim’s cell phone to the Quincy area, but were unable to locate the victim’s vehicle.
The Boston Police Department is actively investigating facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call District D-4 (South End) detectives at 617-343-5619.
