Police Seeking to Identify Suspect Involved in an Assault and Battery in the area of 9 Plant Court

At about, 9:20 PM, Monday, August 19, 2013 officers from District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to a radio call for a Person Stabbed in the area of 9 Plant Ct. Jamaica Plain.

On arrival, officers were approached by the victim who was suffering from  multiple stab wounds. The initial incident took place at 200 Heath Street, Jamaica Plain. The suspect is described as white male, 6'00, 200 lbs., wearing a blue shirt, black baseball cap, with a white emblem on the front, black sneakers and denim shorts. The suspect fled on foot in the direction of Heath and South Huntington Streets. The victim was transported to Brigham and Women's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The video appears to show the point where the suspect stops chasing the victim and turns around to flee the area.

The Boston Police Department is actively investigating facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) detectives at 617-343-5628.
