Boston Police Investigate Shooting in Dorchester

At about 8:51pm, on Wednesday, January 15, 2014, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 955 Blue Hill Avenue, Dorchester.

On arrival, officers located the victim, suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. The victim suffering from non-life threatening injuries was transported to Boston Medical Center.

The District B-3 detectives are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call detectives at (617) 343-4712.
