Daily Dose of Great Police Work: Police Arrest Two for Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle in the area of 4 Fawndale St.

 

At about 2:55 AM, Wednesday, January 22, 2014, officers from District E-5 (West Roxbury) responded to a radio call for Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle in the area of 4 Fawndale Road  in Roslindale.

On arrival, an officer observed two male suspects rummaging through the trunk of a motor vehicle. As the officer approached the motor vehicle, the suspects closed the trunk and fled on foot through several backyards. Officers were able to secure a perimeter. After a brief foot chase, in which officers tracked the suspects’ footprints in the snow, officers were able to apprehend one of the suspects.

Upon apprehension of the first suspect, officers responded to an additional radio call for a Breaking and Entering in the 4000 block of Washington Street in Roslindale. On arrival, officers were directed to the victim’s bathroom where the second suspect was standing. Officers recovered a knife.

Arrested was Steven Fequiere, 28, of Hyde Park and Jeffrey Salvant, 27, of Roslindale. Fequiere is charged with Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle, Night and Salvant is charged with Armed Breaking and Entering of a Dwelling and Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle, Night.
