Update: Suspect Arrested in Fall River in connection with an Indecent Assault in the area of Tileston & Wiggin Streets

At about 10:00 PM, on Saturday, October, 18, 2014, member of the Boston Police Fugitive Unit arrested a 36-year old male, Nieto Wagner of Fall River, wanted in connection for an indecent assault in the North End, Boston. Wagner is expected to appear in Boston Municipal Court tomorrow.

 The facts and circumstances surrounding the incident are as follows:

At about 2:45am, on Saturday, October 18, 2014, officers assigned to District A-1 (Downtown) responded to a call for a female victim stating that she had been indecently assaulted in the area of Tileston & Wiggin Streets.  According to the victim, she was walking home when she noticed an unknown individual (described as a Hispanic male in his early thirties, approximately 5'7” to 5’9” tall, stocky build, with black spiked hair, wearing a white zip-up jacket, blue jeans and camouflage boots) walking behind her. When the victim turned to acknowledge the suspect, a brief conversation ensued before the suspect grabbed the victim in an indecent manner and then ran off. According the victim, the suspect spoke with what she believes to be a Hispanic accent. Officers conducted a search of the area for the suspect but were unsuccessful in their efforts to locate him.
