BPD Officers Stop by the Susan Bailis Senior Assisted Living Community in the South End to Serve Up a Senior Appreciation Dinner

On Thursday, October 23, 2014, Sgt. Gino Provenzano, Officer Bernadette McCarthy, Officer Billy Slyne, Karen Collins and Bill Stoddard from PAL stopped by the Susan Bailis Senior Assisted Living Community, located at 352 Mass Ave, to visit with and provide dinner for the residents who call the Bailis Senior Center their home. All in attendance loved the dinner and the visit from Boston’s Finest even better.  Special thanks to the Boston Police Athletic/Activities League and Stella Restaurant located at 1525 Washington Street for providing the dinner free of charge. Said one of the officers, “This is a great way for us to interact with and talk to some of our elderly community members. It’s important for them to know that we’re here for them if they ever need us and a Senior Appreciation Dinner is a great way to share that message.”
