Update: Victim Identified in the Death Investigation in the area of 45 Bowdoin Street in Dorchester 

At about 4:05pm, on Saturday, November 8, 2014, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 45 Bowdoin Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located a non-responsive female, believed to be in her thirties, suffering from life threatening injuries. The victim was pronounced deceased on the scene. The victim has since been identified as Audilia DaVeiga, 33, of Boston. The cause and manner of death remain under investigation.
