Justice Served: Suspect Found Guilty of Murder

Justice Served: Today, Wednesday December 17, 2014, a Suffolk County Jury returned a guilty verdict against Cristian Rodriguez, 38, of Boston for 1st Degree Murder in the death of Roosevelt Harris, 51, of Boston.  On February 9, 2012, officers from District D-4 responded to a call for a man who had been assaulted and beaten in the area of 1049 Tremont Street. On arrival, officers located the victim (Roosevelt Harris) suffering from what appeared to be massive head trauma. Mr. Harris was pronounced deceased on the scene by Boston EMS. After a complete and thorough investigation, Boston Police Homicide Detectives were able to identify and arrest the suspect in this case. Today, the suspect, Cristian Rodriguez was sentenced to life in prison. Special thanks to the members of the Boston Police Homicide Unit and Suffolk County District Attorney Dan Conley’s Office for the hard work, dedication and devotion that led to the successful prosecution of the suspect in this case.
