Victim’s Family Offers Cash Reward for Information Leading to the Arrest of the Suspect Wanted in Connection to a Fatal Hit and Run Incident in Dorchester: At about 5:21 pm, on Wednesday, November 26, 2014, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a call for a pedestrian struck in the area of American Legion Highway and Blue Hill Ave. On arrival, officers located a pedestrian, a male victim believed to be in his early fifties, suffering from life threatening injuries. The victim was later pronounced deceased. The victim has since been identified as Paul Fonseca, 51, of Boston.

Detectives assigned to the Boston Police Homicide Fatal Collision Team continue to actively review and investigate the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. The victim’s family is offering a $500.00 cash reward in exchange for any information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect operating the vehicle used in this incident. The vehicle, a black Lincoln Town car, was last seen fleeing the area outbound on Blue Hill Ave. Community members with information can call investigators directly at (617) 343-4470.
