Daily Dose of Great Work: Police Respond to Loud Party and Arrest One Suspect with a Firearm and One Suspect for Under Age Drinking

 

At about 11:55pm on Friday, January, 31,2014, officers from District D4 (South End) responded to a radio call for a fight at 645 Beacon Street, (Boston Hotel Buckminister).

Upon arrival the officers spoke with hotel staff who stated there was a large fight on the fourth floor outside of one of the rooms.  He also stated that there was a loud party coming on from the same room.

Officers ran up to the 4th floor and noticed males standing in the area by the elevator. Upon recognizing the officers, suspect #1 quickly turned and walked past the officers, while tightly clutching his waistband with both hands.  After a brief chase through the hallways, followed by an intense struggle, officers apprehended the suspect.  Officers recovered a .44 Magnum firearm.  

Jimmy Carl Stokes, 22, of Roxbury was arrested and charged with Resisting arrest, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition

During further investigation, officers observed suspect #2,Jordan Kirnor, 20, of Dorchester, with an open liquor bottle hanging out of his pocket.  Officers subsequently recovered a large kitchen knife, drug paraphernalia, Class D drugs (believed to be marijuana), and a large amount of US currency.

Kirnor was arrested and charged with Dangerous Weapons Unlawful Carried (Knife), Possession W/I to Distribute, Class D, Drugs, Possession of Alcoholic Beverages by Means Under 21.
