One Less Gun: Firearm and Drugs Recovered, Four Arrested for Related Charges in Dorchester

Drugs, Firearm, and Ammunition recovered

At about 12:15 PM on Saturday, February 15, 2014, officers in the Drug Control Units from Districts C-6 (South Boston) and C-11 (Dorchester) conducted a search warrant issued for the residence located in the area of 161 Devon Street.

Upon arrival, officers entered the above residence and announced their office and warrant.  After gaining access to the residence, the officers secured all occupants for the officers’ safety and to ensure the preservation of any evidence.  During the execution of the search warrant, the officers recovered the following:

  • 1 Lorcin .22 caliber firearm with magazine and ammunition
  • Several plastics bags containing a total of 210 grams of brown powder substance believed to be heroin
  • Several large plastic bags containing a white powder substance believed to be cocaine
  • Several plastic bags containing 3,855 green 30mg pills believed to be Oxycodone
  • Several hundred dollars in United States currency
  • Various drug paraphernalia

The following occupants of the residence were placed under arrest:

Forty-four-year-old Eduardo Guzman of Dorchester was placed under arrest for Trafficking Class A Drugs 28-99grams.

Twenty-four-year-old Christian Samuel Ferreira-Reyes of Dorchester was placed under arrest for Trafficking Class A Drugs 28-99 grams and Trafficking Class B Drugs over 200 grams. He was also arrested on an additional active outstanding warrant.

Twenty-one-year-old Estrelita A. Peguero of Dorchester was placed under arrest for Trafficking Class A Drugs 28-99 grams and Trafficking Class B Drugs over 200 grams.

Twenty-year-old Miguel Alberto Perez of Dorchester was placed under arrest for Trafficking Class A Drugs 100-199 grams, Possession W/I to Distribute Class A Drugs, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.
