At about 1:03 AM, Wednesday February 19, 2014, officers from District E18 (Hyde Park) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 381 Hyde Park Ave in Jamaica Plain.
Upon arrival, officers were directed by several witnesses, to a rear driveway area and observed a male victim in his thirties, lying on his side, suffering from a reported gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the Brigham and Women's Hospital with life threatening injuries.
The Boston Police Department is actively investigating facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to call District E-18 (Hyde Park) detectives at 617-343-5607.
