At about 4:53 PM on Tuesday, March 11, 2014, officers assigned to District D-14 (Brighton) responded to a radio call for an assault and battery in progress in the area of 51 Park Vale Ave. in Brighton.

On arrival, officers were met by one of the male victims who stated that he and the other male victim had been playing basketball in their apartment with the two male suspects. During the basketball game, the suspects became enraged and began to attack the victims. In an attempt to get away from the suspects, the victims fled into their bedroom and locked the door.
