Still Time to Make a Difference in the Life of a Little Boy Battling Cancer

Tyler Seddon turns 7 on March 6, 2014.

Attention all police officers, fire fighters and first responders, there’s a little boy in Pascoag, Rhode Island who needs our help. Tyler Seddon, who’s battling leukemia, is about to turn 7 years-old and his mother tells us she wants to make his upcoming birthday one of the all-time best. To do that, she’s asking for birthday cards for her son. According to Rachel Seddon, her son loves firefighters, police officers and first responders and she says it would mean the world to him to get birthday cards from all of us. So, let’s get it done. The more cards the better. Officers will be collecting cards from all the district stations and BPD Headquarters on Tuesday, March 4. So, you still have time to drop one off. The cards will be hand delivered to Tyler in time for his birthday which is on March 6.

Tyler needs a bone marrow transplant and he is currently undergoing chemotherapy in an effort to buy some time while the search for a marrow donor continues.

If you can’t drop a card off at any of our district stations, first responders who would like to send Tyler a birthday card can so by sending them to the following address:

Tyler Seddon, 96 South Main Street, Pascoag, Rhode Island, 02859.
